Browse Assets
The asset list shows everything NetEdgeIQ has discovered on your network. You can search, filter, and open any asset to see its full details.
Steps

Go to Assets in the main navigation.

The asset list loads showing all discovered assets in your scope. Each row shows:
- Name / hostname — the device's name if known
- IP address — the primary IP if known
- MAC address — the hardware address
- Type — Device, Client, or unclassified
- Site — the site where the asset was discovered
- Last seen — when the asset was last observed

To search: type in the search bar at the top of the list. You can search by:
- Hostname or device name (e.g.,
IDF-B-SW2) - IP address (e.g.,
10.99.0.21) - MAC address (e.g.,
00:50:00:00:0e:00)
- Hostname or device name (e.g.,

To filter: use the filter controls to narrow results by type (Device, Client, unclassified), site, or capability state.

Click any asset row to open its detail page.
What you see on the asset detail page
The asset detail page shows everything NetEdgeIQ knows about that asset:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Identity | Hostname, IP addresses, MAC address, vendor, model |
| Capabilities | SNMP, SSH, and other detected capabilities with their current state (observed / verified / authenticated) |
| Interfaces / Ports | Discovered network interfaces with names, IPs, and status |
| Neighbors | Adjacent devices discovered via LLDP or CDP |
| Metrics | CPU, memory, interface utilization collected from the last metrics run |
| Tickets | Open and recent tickets linked to this asset |
| Change requests | Recent changes made against this asset |
Admin note
Admins see assets across all organizations. Use the organization and site filters at the top of the
list to narrow to a specific customer or location.
